Income-qualified households experiencing temporary financial hardship may be eligible for up to $200 annually toward sewer charges.
Applicants must:

Have an active residential sewer account

Live at the service address

Be past due

Meet income guidelines
Please note: Only the sewer assistance portion of MCAP applies to the Clinton Township Sewerage Authority.
Additional Assistance Programs
The following state-administered programs may also be available:

Winter Termination Program (Nov. 15–Mar. 15) – Protects eligible customers from utility shutoffs.

Summer Termination Program (June 15–Aug. 31) – Protects eligible residential water, sewer, and electric customers from utility shutoffs.
Eligibility is based on participation in qualifying assistance programs or documented financial hardship.
