The Clinton Township Sewerage Authority is seeking a full-time Sewer Utility Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative and financial operations. Responsibilities include sewer utility billing and payment processing (including online payment systems), accounts receivable and payable, customer service, preparation of monthly Board meeting agendas and minutes, public agency compliance, payroll and benefits support, safety documentation in accordance with NJUA JIF requirements, basic technology troubleshooting, and general office administration.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a public agency environment, and able to manage multiple responsibilities. After successful completion of the probationary period and review by the Personnel Committee, advancement to the “Clerk” title may be considered. The salary range is $50,000.00–$55,000.00 annually. Benefits are offered in accordance with Authority policy. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A high school diploma or GED is required. One (1) to three (3) years of experience in clerical, billing, municipal, or authority operations is preferred but not required.
