Public Works Laborer - Full Time

The Township of Clinton, Hunterdon County, is accepting applications for a full-time position of laborer for the Department of Public Works. Duties include, but are not limited to, buildings and ground maintenance, grass cutting, road maintenance, snow plowing, leaf collection, and paving. Applicants should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand/carry out verbal instructions. Applicants must be able to safely operate grass cutting equipment, chainsaws, chippers, snow blowers, leaf machines, and similar equipment as directed. The successful candidate must be available to work overtime as needed, including holidays and weekends. Applicant must also have a valid NJ Driver’s License. A valid CDL, Class A preferred or will be required within 6 months of hire. Successful applicants must undergo a background check. Salary range $40,000 to $55,000 DOQE. Please apply online.
